Statue Retopology

Completed March, 2026

Through the process of converting a scanned statue into a lower poly model, I worked in retopologizing, UVing, and texturing a high poly mesh. This project served as a more challenging process of fixing high poly topology and ensuring the model could be successfully UV mapped and textured. I learned a lot of useful skills in retopology and how to simplify a mesh for a clean and seamless UV. This will come in handy for future projects if I run into any topology issues and need to implement textures.
