Through the exploration and study of different title sequences in film, we were tasked with choosing a novel to create an adaptation title sequence. I ended up choosing Lucas Shaefer's, "The Slip," which involves high tension, intense emotion, and the overall theme of boxing throughout. I wanted to stay true to the feel of the novel and to the front cover by maintaining striking oranges throughout each scene to connect this work to the original.
